Monday morning was spent at the hospital getting xrays. Its confirmed: cracked and bruised ribs and dorsal muscles from my fall on Wednesday...

Stage 6, Oak Valley - Oak Valley

119km & 2700m elevation today - another long, hard day in the saddle, but only one more to go!

A couch always trumps a bike.

We're at Rockhaven Farm in Elgin for Friday and Saturday night. Today's stage was long and windy with lotsa climbing. Stu soldiered on with both of us getting very excited at the prospect of a night in a bed at the farm cottage. Thanks for all the support and messages. Bru & Stu

River Crossing on Day 4

Here's a picture of us crossing a river on yesterdays stage (after my crash). I'm picking my way across holding my back, and Bruce is carrying both our bikes just behind me.

Today was a time trial and Bruce and I managed to put in a good ride.

Off to Oak Valley Elgin tomorrow 143 km.
